  1. Hi Jennifer… Remember me? The Sulky lady! Post my website if you like it! Hope to see you soon…excited for your videos!

Hello Jennifer……………..I would like to have my sewing machine tuned up. The people that I have used in the past have moved away from my area. I have a Phaff 1222SE. It is older but I love it, worked has well for years with my alterations business. Just thought you may know of a good technician to do the maintenance.
I live in Uncasville, CT and do not mind traveling a bit for someone that I can trust.
Like your website, I will have to keep up with you…………..Thanks, Pat Preston

      Hi Patricia,
I love Pfaff (and honestly, I think the older the better!!) I have two suggestions for you. You can try John at New England Sewing in Manchester, or Quilts and Treasures in East Long Meadow MA. I’ve had good results at both. Let me know if you need more help, Thanks, Jen

  3. Hi Jennifer,

Are you going to be at ASG in DC? I am planning on coming. If you remember I took your jeans workshop and have been killing it with your patterns ever since.

I recently made your khaki pattern with excellent results! I have a posting on my blog and on pattern review.

Excellent job, as always – sign me up for the perfect shirt – I’m in as soon as the pattern comes out!

    Warm regards, Pam

      Hi Pam,
I checked out your khaki pants… They look great, I love gray! (I also love the red jeans!!) I just got home from teaching the Debut of the Perfect Shirt in Mass for the ASDP. I was really good, talented bunch of ladies, plus I’m pleased with the way the pattern fits all shapes and sized bodies! Excited that you’ll be at ASG this year, I’m going too, teaching Jean Fit and two new classes… Jean Restyle and Cup adjustment for DD + busts! Look forward to seeing you. Jen

I purchased your blouse pattern (0051) at the sewing expo in Novi MI last fall. I am finally ready to sew for me, I got the pattern out and cut it out but I can not find pattern piece 7 (collar stand). I am sure it was in the envelope, but I have taken it out many time with the intent to start it but something with a deadline always came up so it was put on the back shelf. Is there a way you could get me a new collar stand piece or tell me if collar 13 would work? My snail mail address is 11145 Wynns, Pinckney MI 48169 if that would be easier to send it that way. Thank you.

      Hi Kathy,
I’m so happy that you’re ready to get going with the Top! Sorry I didn’t get back to you sooner, I was getting ready for a new workshop that I was scheduled to teach this past weekend. I’m sending out another pattern today. … You can trace the piece you need and gift the pattern to a sewing friend. Let me know if you need help with the pattern as you get going. Thanks Jen

Thank you very much. I have not started it yet due to a lack of matching thread. I am making the muslin out of some fabric that I will wear if it does not need to much altering.

  5. Joanne Wales

Hi Jen, I was at the Santa Rosa workshop. I have a question on how to raise the back neckline on The Tee? I have a slight round to my upper back and I would like the neckline to be higher in the back. Thanks.
    Joanne

    • Jennifer Stern

      Hi Joanne,
So nice to hear from you! How do you feel about creating a center back seam on the upper back bodice piece? That way you can slash and spread across the back to make room for the curve in your back? I think that will work better than trying to reshape the neckline itself… Let me know, if you want to give it a try I’ll do a step-by-step post to show you how :) Jen

  6. Hi Jennifer,
Just wondering are you still selling the Ribbon Skirt pattern? It’s not included in your list of patterns on the homepage and also not in the Pattern Review website but I saw your old posts about the skirt in your blog and it piqued my interest. Thanks!

    • Jennifer Stern

      Hi Maria,
Not sure how I missed your comment… sorry about that… I do still sell the Ribbon Skirt Pattern… It’s down below the Jean Workbooks! I apologize for my messy pattern page! I have it on the list to fix! Jen
